Insurance:

Please note that hypnotherapy is not billable through third-party insurance. However, many Employee Flex Plans may reimburse you for hypnotherapy sessions. It is recommended that you check with your plan for more information.

Payment:

Accepted forms of payment include cash, checks, and most credit cards. Pre-payment is also accepted through PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. The majority of my clients pay me at each session or with pre-paid multi-session packages, but I can also bill you monthly.

Sessions:

Sessions are conducted either in person or online (as long as you can listen on speaker or headphones). If you choose to come in person, please refrain from wearing scented products to accommodate those who are scent-sensitive or allergic. Online sessions are via Zoom or any platform of your choice, as long as you can listen on speaker.

Length and Frequency of Sessions:

Sessions are typically 60 or 90 minutes in length, with most clients opting for weekly sessions lasting 60 minutes. However, depending on your individual needs, it may be appropriate to schedule more frequent sessions for a short period of time. For example, if you're preparing for or recovering from surgery, or if you're trying to quit smoking, more frequent sessions may be beneficial. If you're coming in once a month or less frequently, I recommend scheduling a 90 - 120 minute session.

Ultimately, the length and frequency of your sessions is up to you. My goal is to support you in finding the best approach for your needs. Many clients choose to continue seeing me for regular check-ins after an initial course of sessions, whether it's once a month, once a season, once a year, or during times of transition. I always make space in my practice for those who need a "tune-up" or more. My services include hypnotherapy, Reiki, craniosacral therapy, and other techniques to support your healing and well-being.

Availability:

I always do my best to give clients ample notice when I will be out of the office and provide referrals to other practitioners when I'm not available. In the unlikely event that I can't make a session, I will do my best to contact you.

Accessibility:

If you need to contact me between appointments, please leave a message on my voicemail at 415-364-1853 or email me at ewa@sfhypnotherapy.com. I strive to return your call or email within 24 hours. If you haven't heard back from me, feel free to call or email me again.

Location:

My office is accessible by climbing a set of 10 straight front stairs with a railing on each side. Please note that two young cats live in the house but can stay outside the healing space during your visit.

Lastly, please note that I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please try to do so 24 hours in advance. If you cancel or need to reschedule in less than 24 hours, you will be charged for that session. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, feel free to discuss it with me.
