Dear Reiki friends and Community,

I am pleased to share that on January 25th, I will be participating in the very first Global Reiki Wave.

What is a Global Reiki Wave?

During this one-day event, Certified Medical Reiki Masters™ around the world will simultaneously facilitate Distance Reiki Sessions to raise awareness and funds in support of Medical Reiki Research. 

Imagine the power of this healing energy flowing across the globe!

As a Certified Medical Reiki Master™ I am trained and qualified to be present in medical facilities as well as operating rooms to facilitate Reiki to patients before, during and after surgery.

Imagine one day entering a hospital or medical center to receive care and being offered a healing service in addition to your scans, exams, surgery or medication, and that service is Reiki.

Reiki has been shown to support lowered blood pressure and cortisol levels, quicker recovery from procedures, and less need for pain medication.

From surgical rooms and trauma care units to chemotherapy centers and examining rooms, the experience of Reiki calms the stressors that patients face while undergoing medical care.

Medical Reiki Works™ is a non-profit dedicated to raising funds to support the vital research needed to prove Reiki’s efficacy in medical settings and establish this healing modality as a mainstream offering in medical centers around the world.

Receive a 30-Minute Distance Reiki Session with a Certified Medical Reiki Master™ by contributing $50 or more to this cause.

Registration includes the option to fill out a specific healing intention for your Distance Reiki Session.  You can also request me as your healer in the form when registering.

These contributions will go directly to the pilot study currently underway at Montefiore Einstein Medical Center in New York City.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN YOUR DISTANCE REIKI SESSION

Reiki is a healing art that facilitates a balanced flow of energy in and around the body to support healing of the mind, body and spirit.  The word "Rei" means transcendent or spiritual and the word "ki" means energy or life force.

In addition to their foundational studies, a Certified Medical Reiki Master™ is trained to engage in this practice within the scope of modern medicine, providing support to patients without interfering with the important work of medical providers.

Because energy transcends time and space, a Reiki master can facilitate healing at a distance when it’s aligned with the intentions and permission of the recipient.

When receiving your 30-Minute Distance Reiki Session, you’ll be sent a reminder to find a quiet and comfortable place for you to relax and receive in the flow of this healing energy.

You may experience sensations of warmth or tingling in your body, have a visual or dreamlike experience, or simply become deeply relaxed.

Reiki has an innate ability to flow where it is needed to support you, so the more relaxed you are, the deeper your experience of the healing energy.

You may wish to light a candle and/or play some soothing music during your session to support your state of relaxation.
